Trigger 3: Liking. Give someone a gift and offer to help them and they will like you.

  • Here’s where our follow up process kicks in. The entire sequence is designed to invoke the “liking” trigger. And, it segues into the next automatic influence trigger…
  • Cialdini says “we most prefer to say yes to requests from someone we know and like.”

Trigger 4: Authority. You’re the internet marketing authority!

  • All of what you have done to this point leads the prospect to one conclusion: You’re an authority. And my follow up process convinces the prospect of that fact. So, by taking on the tone of an authority they will naturally defer and comply.
  • Again, Cialdini says “As humans people want to defer to a legitimate authority.”

Trigger 5: Scarcity. The follow up sequence also sets up a time or quantity limited offer.

  • Cialdini: “people assign more value to opportunities when they are less available”
